Plesk is a webserver/shared hosting management tool. It utilizes apache, mysql, php, perl, asp, frontpage, webalizer, qmail, courier-imap, proftpd and several other apps. It comes about a $10-30/domain price-tag though. We currently use this over at http://www.thenth.com. It's worth every penny.

Samba is what I like to use for my fileserving. It allows my windows machines to connect to my RAID drives on my linux server. The linux ext3 journaling filesystem far outperforms NTFS, and the best part: no defragmentation!.

Netjuke, in a word, ROCKS. couple this, a linux fileserver, and all of your music, and you've got the most comprehensive organization and listing of your music files. host them internally on your fileserver with apache/php and you can setup tons of playlists to your liking. Even better yet, customize this script like I did, and partner it with shoutcast streaming media server. netjuke makes the playlists, and shoutcast serves them to my winamp. very smooth.
