It allows my windows machines to connect to my RAID drives on my linux server. The linux ext3 journaling filesystem far outperforms NTFS, and the best part: no defragmentation!. http://www.netjuke.org Netjuke, in a word, ROCKS. couple this, a linux fileserver, and all of your music, and you've got the most comprehensive organization and listing of your music files. host them internally on your fileserver with apache/php and you can setup tons of playlists to your liking. Even better yet, customize this script like I did, and partner it with shoutcast streaming media server. netjuke makes the playlists, and shoutcast serves them to my winamp. very smooth.
